Anyone like Gundam or Super Robot Wars?

I ask cause I've been looking for info and some actual story on the new srw game Z2.
If you don't know what SRW is, that's fine. I just need to know the originals, their mech names, and some insight into how all the characters fit into the game.


Cause I'm ok with good graphics and all the action and kickass music, but knowing the story just makes me feel even better. Its like..

You can't play an RPG for 100 hours if there's no story to it. Think about it.
Also, if Street Fighter had no story, then what would be the point of Chun-li having sexy thighs? Wait..I take that one back.:9

Never played Super Robot Wars (or Super Robot Taisen)games for the same reason you're saying. It huge in Japan: games, anime, toys and more have been spawned from the franchise.

In the games, they often have guest mecha from anime, and proof of that is found in that scan you provided. On the lower left page is Allelujah and his Gundam from Gundam 00, and the center right page is Kamina and Gurren Lagann. Past games have seen other Gundams, KOS-MOS from Xenosaga and more.

For more info, I suggest seeking fan sites and even wikis can lead to decent info.
