IT EXISTS!!! Capcom are releasing a new HD collection of the original 3 DMC games, which apparently will include Trophies and possibly special feature exclusive to the collection, and maybe a connection to the upcoming DmC by devs Ninja Theory (inb4DmCwillsucklol) as far as I can tell it will be PS3 exclusive and will release 30th November this year. Aww I just re-bought the first one! Anyway I'll be getting this. I haven't had the chance to play the Special Edition of Dante's Awakening (that's the one where you can play as Vergil right?) so I'm happy to get this.

Yeah you can play as Dante or Vergil in two separate campaigns. I remember playing the PS2 version of it and getting stuck on the bit when you fight Agni and Rudra. I wonder if my skills will cope today??? I never got close to beating them.

The box is deplorable. Unless they do more than just smooth everything (read: make it up to par with Devil May Cry 4), this will likely NOT get another purchase from me. I own all the PS2 versions, and I will play those if I want to play them.

Cool for those who don't own the originals or can't stand aliasing though, I suppose.

Yeah I hope that it was nothing but a placeholder. I'm buying just for the trophies and the excuse to play them all again, yes, even DMC2 >_>

2 gets a bad rap. It's actually not a terrible game. It just seems bad compared to the other games. The team learned a lot from that one, as is evident in 3. (which is the best in the series in my opinion.)

I agree with you on that 2 isn't terrible. Also, I feel people overlook 4. 4 is amazing, and in some ways, I like Nero more than Dante.

Couldn't agree more. DMC to me has always been in this order.
1.DMC (9/10)
2.DMC 3 (9/10)
3.DMC 4 (8/10)
4.DMC 2 (7/10)
