This game really makes me wonder.... I could have a Nintendo console for a good reason

or would this only be released for the 3DS?

I have, from the begining of GC-hood, owned Luigi's Mansion. I have never played it, only ever watched my brother play it.
    Should I?

Luigi's Mansion is not only one of the best GC games, it's also one of the best Mario-related games.

I'll be sure to start it soon.
I've been eager to play more oldschool games lately.

I know the feeling, I've had it for ever and only played it 100 times. ONLY 100!

You really should, it's probably my favorite Mario game, and it's also my second favorite Gamecube game. (Right behind SSBM.) So you should really give it a try.

Is it just me or does the frame rate not always look so great?

My most anticipated game of 2012, is now being delayed to the first half of 2013.

Well, i'd rather have it take longer and be perfect, then sooner, but worse. if that makes sense.

Luigi's Mansion 2 finally gets a North American release date!

Nintendo has announced that Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will release in North America on March 24.

The game, which was originally planned for release last year but delayed, is the sequel to the original Luigi's Mansion game that appeared on the GameCube in 2001.

Though that game was a smidge too short for our liking, everything we've seen so far suggests Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon has learned from it's past mistakes, keeping its ghost-hunting focus while rapidly expanding its complexity in terms of mission design, location diversity, enemy types and collectibles.

We've reached out to Nintendo to find out if European and Australian release dates are available and will update the story as soon as we know more.

I just prefer calling it Luigi's Mansion 2.

I considered buying a 3DS just for this game, I loved the Gamecube version of Luigi's Mansion. It was one of those unforgettable childhood games. Don't know if it's worth it though.

Me too! (I also considered getting one for NSMB2, Ocarina of Time 3D, RE: Revelations, and hopefully, Smash Bros Universe.) I loved Luigi's Mansion. Better than SM Sunshine. I'm surprised it took them this long to make another one.

Now personally, I wouldn't go that far. Those two are my all-time favorite Gamecube games, but when it comes down to picking one over the other, I hit a block.

But yeah, besides the fact that all those seemingly great games are out (and coming out) for the 3DS, I don't know if it's worth it graphic-wise. Not that it matters a whole lot though. Maybe I play PS3 games too much.

Well, Wind Waker tops em' all, IMO. And don't judge the 3DS just because of it's graphics. It's a person too, you know. It has feelings. Plus some really awesome games. But I won't even consider buying one until they get Wind Waker 3D, or DK Jungle Beats. With the bongo drums and everything!
