    His must either be defective or he's not using it correctly. There's no way an all-in-one printer is unable to scan without ink. One has nothing to do with the other, so that just doesn't make any sense what's-so-ever.

    He might not be using it correctly. Ronthis are you sure you aren't accidentally copying it rather than scanning it? I have done that before.

    Actually I'm not doing anything, I whatched my dad and my brother both try to use it several times and it continues to have this error.

    Trust me, they are way smarter than me. and why are you guys bashing on the printer? the CARTREDGES are the problem.
