Oh man, this is harder than I thought!

I forgot I suck at drawing. I'm still in, though.

I wish I could but I can't draw for shit and if I do it takes me long to do something worthwhile.

    Good luck to all though.

There are other ways to make custom art with out drawing. You can go completely abstract, or you can go traditional. Either way its still custom art.
    Huh?

I am considering putting up a tutorial for how I make custom art. Would anyone be interested or are we ok here?

I have all of the layers drawn on paper, then I was going to scan them onto my computer and re-make them into actuall renders and stuff. But my scanner needs a Ink Cartredge, and it wont be here till the 21'st.

That's 10 days to make a box, I might have to drop out.

Why does your scanner need an ink cartridge? Even if it is a printer/scanner, normally it would still work without ink right?

Umm... your SCANNER needs an ink cartridge? No offense, but that doesn't even make sense. Scanners don't use ink. Even if it's a printer-scanner combo, it should still scan. I haven't had ink in my printer-scanner combo in over a year, and it still scans...

I figured you guys would say that, I forgot to say why.

Yes, it is a printer/scanner. It's also a retarded one. It will not scan or print unless it has ink. On it's little screen it says something like "Ink Cartredge required" when you turn it on.

Just to be sure I am understanding the rules correctly. Our box has to show urgency, correct? Or does the subject just have to have something to do with urgency?
    Huh?

Yes, the box has to SHOW urgency. It doesn't matter so much if the game itself is entirely urgent all the time, so long as your box shows urgency. For instance, Donkey Kong Country 2 isn't very urgent, at least not all the time, but a person could easily MAKE it urgent on the cover by showing one of the many levels in which the Kongs race against lava, boiling water, ice, rising rocks, and a roller coaster.

I'd think yes, if you can create a sense that it's coming at you, the viewer.

Haven't seen this question yet, and I am sure I am not the only one wondering. Are WIPs Allowed?

Good question. I don't know if I would show a WIP personally, because I want to keep it a surprise, but it would be useful.
