WARNING..WARNING..IF YOU CANT FIGURE THIS OUT, THERE IS NO HOPE!

If this doesn't help I'm sorry. This is some of the things
i used to make my paint boxes when i started out.

Play with it for a little while until you get the hang of it.

Here is a video that shows how i make a box in paint.

Excellent tutorial. While limited in features, Paint can be an insanely powerful tool if you know what your doing and have patience.

Cool. But it looks like it takes ages to make something good.

KOF people can do amazing things with paint, don't think its all bad, the front image on both my first 2 boxes where made in paint then moved onto photoshop for a 3D look.

I don't want to hear anyone complain about Paint. If. you want to, watch this first.

Sorry for the late reply but if your problem is still happening just send me a IM or you can also upload the image on tinypic.com and open the image 100% and right click and save as a JPEG. i think that might work.

I tried to help and if this doesn't I'm sorry, these are the steps i used to make my ranger and force unleashed boxes. not the template and reflection just the image itself.

Play with it for a little while until you get the hang of it.

(this is a vid of some of the things i was talking about above.

I'm sorry samus, but I'm gonna have to use Trev's quote here. It clearly says MS paint at the top for making boxes, and you can also use the gimp at gimp.org
And If you can't figure out how to scale and stuff, there's no way to explain it. It's just a simple method. There isn't a way to explain it, I'm sorry.

What are you talking about a url i simply found a image close to the size of the template and used that. Don't stretch or shrink it to much or it will be pixelated.

I posted a tutorial and helped as much as i can and even made a video. So that is all the help i will give.

Please fix your post and remove the image.

It says at the top and on the video that it is MS paint but if this doesn't make it clean on how to make a box then please don't use paint and use gimp or photoshop.

You cant resize in paint. If you have a friend that has a good program have him resize the image for you. If you noticed in the video i had to cut some of the image.

    oh clever

    im new to making boxarts

but making a box in paint looks like a pain in the ass

for those of you that want to use a less complex program than paint, that is good for positioning layers, i recommend you try microsoft picture it! express

i use it for making posters

I suggest you use Gimp or if you have the money, Photoshop.

Other alternatives can be Paint.NET or Paint Shop Pro.
