Please tell me what you think about the cover, obviously you view this thread from time to time, hence the Khalifia comment.

Jeez dude, how long does it take you to do each of these amazing box arts, and where do you find the time?

I really don't know, I find it easy to finish and complete covers, and I see no reason to stop making a cover if I've already started it. It's really just a habit.

When I first started making boxes I was the same way, start to finish almost every day. I can rarely get a good idea or actually bring myself to do the work that often anymore.

    Resident Evil: Racoon City

This was my original pitch to Jevangod via PM, my front did not match up in greatness, however it was the point of the collab to choose which two were the best. This cover is unreleased, far from mastered, whenever the games comes out I will update it.

Once again, I found some decent resources, (namely two different wallpapers), and tweaked them to my liking. I made some major edits, the front has a lens flare, lighting adjustments, color and level adjustments, filters, and renders in the front, that I rendered out from a hi-res version of the wallpaper of the back. I covered images I cut out from the back's wallpaper with the screenshots.

Both the back and front were sharpened to a degree and made brighter and I added some vibrancy to them to draw emphasis for the cinematic effect.

The back is a take on one of Marker's techniques, of putting features evenly spaced between screenshots, to be visible but at the same time not obstruct the view of the screenshots themselves. Thanks to him for this.

The font I used for the description works perfectly, it also has a sub-tagline. (SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT AMERICA), text is absent from the front's developer logo because it always ends up looking choppy. Legal information was done from scratch like always, I tried my best to predict what the legal information would look like when the game is released in the future. Specifications are based off of speculation, presentation is inspired from SONY's own rendition of their PS3 covers in 3D, just without the fake looking plastic.

I rendered out everything from an extremely high resolution wallpaper, 1 of the 3, none of which were hosted on the main website, (North America). I feel good about the back that I used different fonts like Georgia, and tried to copy the tagline from the main website, to the way it was embossed, colored and highlighted. I doubled each font on top of each other because the bold option didn't make them stand out enough. The screenshot borders, I rendered out from the North America main website, from a"prt scrn", I could have well fit more onto the back if it was bigger. Not too keen on using the same exact background as the front though, as I got a lot of resources in a folder I could use, but the back and front wouldn't have matched each other. Barcode like always, is taken from the official's back.

    [link]

The front is my own take on the official, if you look closely at the link above, you will be able to see that my front and the official don't match exactly. The man laying down at the crime scene with the cops was taken out, I found a larger version of that man laying down and rendered him out, so it looks like Cole is actually examining his body instead of the lady's with the smudged makeup. The white shirt he's grabbing matches the color of the laying man, so it worked. If you've seen some of the artwork you could know that the image of Cole on the front is actually from an image of him looking at a lady at the crime scene.

So I had to color him black and white, and then re-color him to match the white/blue/red tones of everything else, the ladies face was also put there by myself, I didn't touch the official however want I really wanted to do obviously was change it.

The back has a lot of elements from the official website, and I used a few pamphlets and folders for the description text, upon second inspection the text is kind of small which is something I plan on fixing when I release the printable for sure. The color tones match well and I really like the cover and I think it is well balanced.

I had some discs already made and upload at console-covers a few months back so I used those.

The cover itself is awfully random, the soldiers were rendered, many lighting adjustments were added with some small effects, colors were intensified. Printable is released, real barcode, legal information.
