In order to stop confusing people, I will not be posting more covers under the Sentroavium account, the account was originally my idea, and since Sentry and I have conflicting schedules, I will no longer be trashing our account with only my work. It looks like I will never get my original account back, I will be upgrading this thread with my latest works for people to critique and look at.

[Xbox 360] Mortal Kombat

Inspiration for the front comes directly from Phoenix, thanks to his idea I was able to make something similar that still works. Mortal Kombat comes out in April, so until then, the legal info will remain unedited from my Black Ops cover. Assets were taken from the main website. I rendered out Scorpion from promotional artwork so that I could space him over Sub-zero because they are basically the two most popular characters for the game, and they are the two characters being used to promote the release of this new title.

Sentry, and I "Throavium", made an collaboration account back in April, he's a busy person, so we haven't been able to make any more collabs with each other.

Sentry + Throavium = Sentroavium

I locked out, my "Throavium" account, and now, I can't access it, because the email tied to the account is a fake, (a long story), so the account is unrecoverable unless Reed just resets the password. In all fairness, it's my fault, so whether or not he decides to reset the account's password is up to him. I will not blame anyone else for what happened.

I've never been confused about it, but I guess I can see how a lot of people can be. Very nice job on the box in the OP though. The back has a perfect layout, and the front does a good job of representing the game.

Why can't Sentry just allow you to use the account for yourself. I didn't even know it was a collab account in the first place. I thought you just created a new one when you got locked out.

I did, but I told Sentry, that I would stop posting covers on it, even though he said it was OK, I still think I disrespected him by doing so. Some people think that Sentry and I are the same person, even though I've cleared up that confusion, I really still want to wait until Reed resets my original, I even sent him a PM yesterday, so hopefully something happens.

Sentry and I are still going to collab, so whenever he finds the time, I will be posting our collab cover next, whenever that is.

[Wii] Mario Sports Mix

The front is only an altered version, because I didn't think it would be necessary at all to make my own front since it works already. I re-did my own back, and got the barcode from a very small image I found on Google. I'm sure the PAL version would be different but I don't know since I haven't found a scan of the actual cover yet. I'm using my newest Wii template with completely redone legal info and specification box organization.

One thing that I'm not too sure about on that is the inconsistency in the background colors. Maybe if the back was a little brighter. Either way, it's pretty nice. I like how you introduced the different sports on the back and how you set up the text boxes. Nice job.

I see, I was going to that, have the back's background go from black to white, but I stole the tagline directly from promotional artwork because I was too lazy, the tagline was actually originally on an orange background, so I made the entire background orange to give the illusion that I made the tagline myself.

That means that I would have had to render out the tagline from the wallpaper, which was pretty hard, so I said screw it.

This is my first movie cover, given the legal information isn't exactly correct. I haven't showed many people this since the template is a bit outdated for the movie. It's from Scorpion Soldier himself.

Ok so this thread is like "woah...", then "damn!", then "ah shit"! First off I never knew that that was a collabo account, but that awesome. Secondly, that MK box is fucking beautiful, there's no two ways around it. Mario sports looks amazing. And that Spiderman is so badass. I love you man.

It's actually a template from 2010, though i do need to update it a bit though to conform 3D releases better.
Nice cover, have you posted it elsewhere before? It looks oddly familiar.
