This reminds me a lot of what Roarshark has been working on. Not saying it's a copy, but it's the same idea.

To be honest I don't think that old box poster style you're going for fits at all such a game.
Plus I think you should also try to experiment more with the design, rather than just following step-by-step that old box poster tutorial.

I hate the logo, and I really don't like that you have "All Stars" on their twice. I feel like it would be much better as just one logo.
