Default Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Scott Pilgrim style - Lestat

In a satire of the DVD cover of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, I decided to attempt my hand at a Super Smash Bros. Brawl box in a similar style. Link, being the one with the Sword, represents Scott, Zelda represents Ramona, and the 7 characters represent the Evil Exes. I was thinking of doing a satire of the back of the original DVD cover with Super Smash Bros Characters. Thoughts on what I have so far?

I don't know a thing about Scott Pilgrim, but I like the setup.
If the Evil Exes are evil, why are they all Brawl good guys?

They aren't actually evil in my boxart per se, but If you google the original DVD cover for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, you might see why I did it that way.

    Double post. Deal with it.

I would like to add that I feel this back is not final, and is just a rough draft. I myself don't feel it to be my best work, and will most likely change it. If you view this thread, please comment, as I need all the help I can get. I know I am not as good as Yoshistar or Stevencho, or even Eggboy, but I would appreciate the feedback.

Ehh, kinda random, don't you think? Why use a Scott Pilgrim layout? I mean, the game has nothing to do with it and its just kinda weird. It looks like a Zelda game right now with cameos from other Nintendo characters. I would scrap it, but that's just me.

I went with a Scott Pilgrim Layout as a way of symbolizing the fighting aspect of the game, and how two characters go up against a plethora of others. I was watching Scott Pilgrim when I got the idea for a fighting game done in a similar style to the DVD cover. I was thinking of replacing Zelda characters with some others from the series. If anyone else thinks I should quit, then speak up.

Hmm, okay that makes more sense! Maybe not quit, but I think you're following the Scott Pilgrim layout too much with the exact 7 other characters that are like the evil exes and stuff. I like the idea of a few main people and a whole bunch of characters in the back in the current style you have. But instead of just Zelda and Link, why not use the main people? Mario, Link, Kirby, Pit, or something?

I like the idea, but I do agree with YoshiStar about maybe using some more main characters like Mario or Kirby.

reworked the back, and slightly altered the front. I am still kind of unsure about the front, but I do feel it is better than what I had before. I feel the front may be too crowded, but I'll let you decide.

    Thoughts?

I don't like the clash of the texture background with the gradient bacgroud.

Like Yoshistar said, play around with the charcters more, it seems right now Link is the main character. There's nothing to judge on the back right now, I recommend on working with the front first
