Anyways, I actually thought Days was good, and most of it was interesting. I especially like the challenging bosses like Gravedigger (or whatever it's called, I forgot the name).

What sucks about Kingdom Heart's convoluted storyline is that to discuss future games, you have to know most everything about the story of the previous games. All of them. Or at least the gist.

So you're telling me in order to understand any newer KH games (like the one this thread is about) I must first play every KH and fully understand it? Well, I'll be needing to pick up BBS and Coded some time too, then.

The Kingdom Hearts story isn't confusing, it's broken. In a direct result from Tetsuya's effort of trying to fit in his random new stories into small places he could possibly fit them into. The first Kingdom Hearts game had a simple story and direction, after Kingdom Hearts II came out with the addition of all of the spiked haired Organization members and extremely easy combo stringing, the series kind of fell apart, even though the game was good.

Birth By Sleep is pretty important, but this is one of my examples, especially with having cryptic trailers for fifty different teenage boys who look like Sora, but aren't Sora, just some random spawn of Sora's Nobody, and all of this convoluted unexplainable mess of a backstory. I understand the story, but to a person who wants to get into the series that doesn't have a PS2 or the time to invest into it, It's pretty hard.

No not play. Just skim wikipedia to fully understand the story, and as long as you get the gist, you'll pick up the rest. Seriously, all you need to understand the story of the upcoming 3D game was summarized in my post last page.

I think it looks pretty good. Re: Coded was the first KH game I have played since KH2 and I understand what was going on. I hear this 3DS game will finaly lead up to a KH3 which is rumor to be out by 2013.

You did a pretty good job looking at that and piecing it together. The only thing I didn't really get on my own thinking is the "Ven is in Castle Oblivion" and "taken into a dream world for the Mark of Mastery" parts.

I really wish they didn't switch back to the younger Sora and Riku, though. Hopefully there's some chance to play as current timeline Sora and Riku, as I think they look much better mature.

The name is so obscure, but this might be interesting.

As for Birth by Sleep Volume 2, I have no clue what that video meant. It threw me for a loop when they started throwing in footage from 358/2 Days. The biggest thing I got from that is more about how SPOILER Terra became Xemnas SPOILER.

Same here, I always wanted to see a world based off the Toy Story movies for a long time now. I'm pretty sure we will see a world based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Iron Man 1-3, Captain America, Thor, and Hulk) in KH3 since Disney owns Marvel now, and The Avengers movie will be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.

WTF? Unless it shows us about Riku and Mickey's time in the Realm of Darkness, I don't care. I want KH3!! (I have been saying this for I think five or six years now).

Its evolving slowly to something more strategic. BBS was a step closer to something better. But I can't think of playing a Kingdom Hearts game with out button mashing, its become part of the game now.

I love the Kingdom Hearts series, but my problem is that I don't have the time or the money to keep buying a game that's the exact same as the last one gameplay wise, when I can just read the gist on wikipedia. I kind of liked Birth By Sleep, but I found 3 characters kind of annoying, when all I wanted was a Sora/Roxas type character to play as. I understand creating three different storylines with three different play styles, but I was just annoyed when only one played like Sora/Roxas, and I never even finished said person's story because one of the required Mini games that kept Screwing with me every time I went to play it.

Not everyone dislikes button mashers. I can't judge KH for myself, but I don't mind those kinds of games.
