    Default Burnout Paradise Art?

Hey does anyone know how to mimic this? I'm trying to make a sequel case right now, and I'm not having any luck making it looks right...

It looks like all they did was take a vector image of a car and put the layer mode on screen over the buildings layer, then desaturated the buildings outside of the car.

That's what I think, too, but the interesting part (At least to me) comes at the way they drew the road vectorized. I know it looks simple, but It catched my eye.

I know in Fireworks it's very easy, not sure about PS though.

Thanks, I found a good tut, and a perfect image so we'll see where I get with it.

Thanks squall, did you mean vectoring it or making a vector look like that burnout pic? Here's my attempt at a vector. I'm gonna try edit it to make it look like that burnout image later.

In order for you to know it's a car, you would have to add white lines where the main parts of the car are (door, head lights/tail lights, tires and wheels, door handles, windows, etc.). Once you have that done you just make everything else black. That would be the part that blends in once you add the screen layer mode, and you would still see the main features of the car, just like what they did with the pic in the OP.

Do you need the tut on just vectoring? Because if it's also the entire thing, I can find a good background XD
