I'm REALLY not feeling this. There's no soul in it. Should I continue?

The front is merely the art for the PC release. It would definitely help if you put a proper PS3 templete on it. It would make it look more legit. I like what you've started on the back. It could use some finishing with the legal text and the usual stuff that's on the back of PS3 boxes as well as some backing behind the text. Also, while it looks cool, your wavy effect on "Your Nightmare Awaits" would be more suited to a water based game. Perhaps a smoke effect would be better.

Obviously, it's up to you wether or not you'll finish this, but I think it has the potential to be a cool box. My only reservation is the use of the stock flower image on the front that was used for the PC release. It detracts away from the custom part of the whole thing.

I would not simply paste the PC release art on the front. That's not how I am. I recognized it's simplistic beauty, and edited it to suit my needs. Is the flower really blue? I think not. I changed it because I wanted to represent a more chilling, dark side, rather than a bloody, redish side. Also, I edited that image curve/color wise a little bit. I had to remove the logo (as there is no photo that I could find without the dev/game logos on it) and extend the smoke. I also touched it up with black to make it flow better into the spine. I think I'm going to go for a more spikey text based back, rather than smoke. I used this template because it gives more freedom. To me, the box is about the ART, not about it "looking legit".

My apologies. On second inspection, I can see the extra work you put into the front. I would say that you have taken the original box and improved upon it.

However, the fact still remains that the front looks a LOT like the official PC release (maybe that doesn't matter though).

BTW, I just fav'd your Need for Speed. It's one of the best racing game ones I've seen here. I hope it makes the Hall.

The old back looked so much better, just make the brownish color pitch black and maybe up the contrast a bit.
