Artwork Sources

So I am not absolutely sure where I should be posting this, so sorry if this is the wrong place.

I was wondering where everyone gets the artwork for their boxes. I seem to have a hard time finding good quality images for my boxes. I know that Creative Uncut is a great place, but often I find it has too little art. So do you have any good places to look for art?

then i blend them. not very helpful, but it's what i do.

Same here, but usually I don't find high quality wallpapers.

I've been wondering the same thing. On Planet Renders and even on here, I can't find any pictures of Uncharted apart from Drake. There is also next to nothing for Infamous unless you use shadysaian's art pack. WHICH HE SHOULD MAKE MORE OF! >:O

One of my better boxes was made with Shady's Infamous Art pack. Thanks for the help, i'll give that site a try.

Gaming websites like IGN or GameSpot will have a decent variety of artwork depending on the game. Again depending on the game, official sites tend to have wallpapers, character art, and even fankits to work with (I used fankits for my last two VC cases, both from the Japanese websites). Of course there's also Google/search engines, although that's obvious and isn't the most effective method. Sometimes I'll even rip material from game trailers or teasers (depends on the video quality though, obviously).

These are just my methods though, not exactly the most effective. I rarely look for pre-rendered images, and just do it myself. Unless hair is involved, in which case I'll do anything possible to avoid extracting it myself.

Has some pretty high-quality artwork, though registering there is a nightmare since it's all in french but I managed to work my way around it using high-intelligence and cunning. Actually....I just used google translator.

I get all my Hi-res images including Screenshots, Artwork and Logo's mostly from here http://scrawlfx.com/

If I don't find what I'm looking for on here, My only option is to find it by Google, which isn't always the best way :/
