I suffered through the terrible VGA's just to see that trailer, on the big screen.

    It was fucking worth it.

Why do I have a feeling that ME3 boxes are going to start popping up on the site?

Oh, and I've probably watched the ME3 trailer about 10 times now.

Indeed. 2011 makes 2010 look weak, and 2010 was pretty damn good.

Wait, when was Borderlands 2 announced?

Oh, and this year seems to be a big one for the "3s"---Gears 3, Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Deux Ex 3, Diablo III, Mass Effect 3...damn.

I don't think it was, actually. Not anything now, but I'm pretty sure Gearbox has stated before that they'll want to make a sequel sometime.

Oh, I think Daemon might've just been getting ahead of himself there

And one can dream...one can dream. In the event that they do announce it, it'll probably be delayed half a dozen times before we get to see it.

We can only hope. As for Borderlands 2, I can't find any confirmation, but they have said that they plan on it.

In case anyone was curious, the game's going to be launching simultaneously on PC, PS3 and 360. I'm surprised Microsoft didn't try getting some sort of time-exclusive deal.

Looks like I'll be getting the PS3 version. My 360's hard drive is packed full.

Im interested in getting the second when it comes out for ps3, but I played the original on pc, so i wont be able to carry over my file. Is it still worth it, or should I not bother?

Why not just get ME2 for pc? Then again if you would prefer it on ps3 its not neccesary to carry over your file. But if you want the perks that come with carrying over then maybe pc is the best option, and besides the pc version should be cheapest and better graphics(as far as im aware, im not sure if graphics have been improved for ps3?) if your pc can run it at its best. And also, alot of people prefer pc controls over console gamepads , i dont know if you're one of those people though.

I would think though that the game is worth it no matter what console you get it for, regardless whether or not you can import save data from the original.

Yeah, it's worth it. When you start playing on the PS3, you'll be able to make all the choices again during a cinematic.

PC version is the definitive version. Always.

    Yep.

I've gotten into Mass Effect through the PC version, bought ME2 for PC as well. Going to continue the tradition with the 3rd outing.
