How have you guys asked girls to Prom? Instead of going to the other school's prom with the girl I mentioned before, I'm planning to take another girl to Prom. I'm pretty sure she'll say yes since we're pretty good friends. I just want to know what cool ideas you guys have had or currently have on asking girls to Prom.

I think it would kind of depend on if you're going to the prom with this girl as a date or just as friends.

Today was... too good to be true. Far too good to be true.

Last night, the girl I've been obsessed with for two years now... broke up with her boyfriend. She posted about it on Facebook only about an hour after I told her she could come to my classroom tomorrow and see the decorations we set up for the party we had today. She said that she would, and then later posted her Relationship status change.

When she came in today, I expected her to be sad. Distraught. Unhappy. But there was none of that. Other than some vague reddening around the eyes, she was happy. She came in, offered to help set up for the party, helped me finish drawing the letters for a banner I was making, and then out of the blue decided that she wanted to watch me teach my class today. A class, I must say, she has never been interested in seeing before. She has been in my room before, even seen the students in that class, but she has never stayed to watch me teach. She just suggested it, out of the blue. She kept hanging around without saying much, but still very close to me, and in the end, when I went to go get my students out of the other room, she came with me, and said that she wanted to watch me teach.

So that's what she did. Even during the party, she hang around, right by my side, the entire time. She walked around a bit, but for the most part she stayed right next to me. Before class started she was putting her hand on my shoulder and patting my on the back, and after class she did the same thing. She never once mentioned anything about her break-up. In fact, In all the time I've known her, she has only mentioned her boyfriend twice. But she seemed perfectly happy about it, and spent the entire morning after it happened observing me teach.

And get this... she's a Prom dance chaperone. That means she has to go. Apparently her students were driving her crazy about who she would go with, so she finally told them she would go with her boyfriend, just to shut them up. But now that's not an option. I'm almost 85% sure now that if she goes, she will ask me to go with her. I never went to my own prom, but I would cut off my own sack to go to prom with this girl.

She's amazing... like God's gift to humankind. She's honestly the single most amazing person I've ever met. I love her in every facet of the definition of the word. And maybe... just maybe... there's a chance we could get together now.

Thoughts on why she came to observe me this morning? What do you think?

You gotta pull back the feelings. Take this extremely slow. She is acting positive around you so that's good. But no matter how she is acting on the outside, she did just get out of a relationship. You have to always be careful in those situations that she isn't rebounding. Right now, just be a great friend to her. Due not put any romantic feelings or love into the picture. And even if she does happen to, do not give back. She needs a couple months of being out of a relationship. That's just how things work. You never ever want to be the rebound guy.

Prom, to me, is a special occasion to have one of the greatest nights of your life, and I might as well start off the good feelings right by making a big deal out of asking. I know the girl I am going to ask will like that.

Both, sorta. I'm pretty sure she likes me, but I don't want to get into a committed relationship with her, but I want this to still be special.

If I modeled my life after Sonic the Hedgehog, I would be in jail for speeding while committing interspecies relations.

So I was at this party last night (posted in the convo thread before but sharing something else here).

At first I was nervous as hell, because that's me. I'm very socially awkward. But I got a few drinks in me, and then I surprised the hell out of myself. I was loud, I was dancing CRAZILY, I was able to talk to anyone there, I was funny, it was fucking incredible man. And I met this girl there, who I vaguely knew from school but she's one year younger than me, and I've never really talked to her. Anyway we were dancing loads together and she seemed really into me.

Here's the thing...she then asked me if I was gay, because I have come out to everyone as bisexual, so things will obviously get distorted due to rumours. Now, I could have easily said that I was bi, but I said "Hell yeah I am!".

I don't know if I'm homo. I could be, for sure, but I'm still in the phase of working things out. This girl was REALLY into me, and I really liked her, but when she asked me if I was gay, I immediately replied with a very emphatic yes. Why is this? I couldn't say. But I know that after I said it she seemed pretty disappointed, although we still had fun together for the rest of the night.

Could anyone help me clarify about last night?

I have something a little interesting to share. You guys know that chick I've been having problems with for the last couple years? Well, she called me on Skype last night, and we literally talked, in detail, about anything and everything we could think of that was relevant to us. Turns out, I was never in the "real" friend zone. According to her, she thinks she is really awful with guys. So she's afraid that if we get in a relationship now, she'll fuck things up, so I'm on hold until she's ready for me.

What's weird about this is, hearing that boosted my confidence up like 100000% for whatever reason. I don't know what came over me, but I just turned into a badass all of a sudden. So, using that newly found confidence, I changed the subject to sex on impulse, and managed to get her....really horny. Which is strange cause I've never seen her talk about sex or anything that much.

So the reason I'm telling you guys this is not because I want to say "LOLOL I T4LK ABOUT SEX WITH GURLZ". It's because it's a good example of how a little confidence can go a long way. I have guys all the time asking me for girl advice and why they have problems. But when I explain to them it's all in confidence and charisma, they think I'm nuts and go buy girls things, thinking that'll magically start a love connection.

Moral of the story is, if you can manage to make your girl think you exude confidence, you WILL get farther in your relationship. Confidence is key.

No, I really think I do. After all, whether it's sincere or born out of desperation and loneliness, the rebound guy still gets the girl. Honestly, I don't care how or why I get the girl... as long as I get the girl.

Me and my boyfriend were hanging out yesterday, right? I had some fries from Burger King and spilled them all over his floor. I flipped out and started tossing straws all over the place. I then ran to the other side of the room and my boyfriend had to calm me down.

I apologized for how I reacted then just felt bad for a while. He told me not to feel bad because it was making him feel bad. Then we hugged and kissed and enjoyed watching World's Dumbest.

I still feel a bit bad for how I reacted, but I feel a lot better after talking to my boyfriend. I love him. (We've been going strong for seven month now :3 )

From what he has told me, he's liked me as more than a friend since high school. Even when I was dating my ex-fiance.

I've always liked my current boyfriend more. No, loved. He's awesome.

Yeah, about four years ago to my ex-fiance. Then I was dumped on St. Patrick's Day. I posted about it on here in my profile comments on my forum profile here. Go to my page and look a few pages back. You'll see it.

I almost moved to another country if I were to marry my ex. I'm glad it didn't happen in the end. Got to stay here and be with my current boyfriend and tell him my true feelings to him. Turns out he had liked me for at least six years and he said he was too scared to ask me out and whatnot.

He proposed to you and then dumped you later? That's harsh. I'm sorry.

Good you didn't marry him, what kinda person proposes and then breaks up with you? Anyway, glad your new relationship is going great.

The proposal is the reason I want to forget my High School graduation. -_-
