Hmm...this seems like a good idea, but the problem is that it can easily destroy any new boxes off the front page in mere minutes if it gets too popular.

I think it's a great idea that way good boxes that didn't get much attention can get the attention they deserve

Yes, but if 10 people do this within a few minutes of each other, then a box that was just posted is immediately off of the comments page, which is probably the most popular part of looking at a box. Then they would just have to come back here ever anyways and post so someone comments on theirs. Also, who's to say that the "latest" box is a "great" box. That is just my opinion, like all things, this is a good idea in moderation.

You don't have to just comment on the latest. The idea is to get more activity, thereby increasing the chance that artists will get some feedback, which is better than none. Besides, this only pushes the comments off the page, not the boxes themselves.

Technically, the thread does say post on the latest box. And I know it doesn't kick the box itself, but I look at boxes that have been commented on more than scrolling down to boxes. That is just me, though. Overall, I think this has more pros than cons, and is a good idea.
