Lost Woods - Ocarina of Time

This song brings back memories, makes me happy, and then pisses me off becuase of how confusing the Lost Woods were the first time I played through Ocarina of Time.

I'm playing through Lost Odyssey at the moment, Never Ending Journey is one of my favorite tracks from it.

Also, Blinded by Light may be my favorite Final Fantasy battle theme. I can listen over and over and it never gets old.

^FFXIII's soundtrack was amazing. Just off the top of my head, along with the battle theme... I really enjoyed listening to Sunleth Waterscape and Archylte Steppe.

That said, Hamauzu's best work for me is still Saga Frontier 2:

Also, while I haven't played it yet (unfortunately), Nier easily has the best game soundtrack this year so far. Here's some of my favorites:

    Gods Bound by Rules

    Emil / Karma

Song of the Ancients / Fate

Great songs as well, I enjoyed probably everything from XIII's soundtrack. Hamauzu did a fantastic job. In addition, I absolutely adore the song Miracles. I don't know what it is, but I always feel great listening to it.

Really enjoyed those Nier tracks, have yet to play the game but want to at some point.

By the way, I haven't forgotten about Metroid, guys. This track is made of pure awesome: Chozo Artifact Temple!

    I have a wide collection.

Personally I think the soundtrack for Rockman X: Command Mission, is my favorite soundtrack of all time, it's the only soundtrack that I can listen to in one sitting and the beats are radical.

Earthbound has one of the best soundtracks in my opinion, it has many different genres and the beats are swinging. Not to mention this track.

I listen to this almost daily.

I would like the Twilight Princess soundtrack much more if it wasn't all MIDI files. Chrono Trigger is a given.

I like the soundtracks for FF, VII, VIII, and X.

Breath of Fire IV has some very bleak tracks, Terranigma is 16-bit brilliance, some tracks from Kingdom Hearts are good too.

Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future have funky soundtracks, Persona 3 and 4 also have some piano bangers.

Sonic Advance 3 also has an excellent soundtrack.

Also the Scott Pilgrim game has some pretty good music written by anamanaguchi.

Probably in the top 5 of the soundtrack, absolutely gracious fast speeded beat.
