Agreed. What a poorly designed box, no effort at all. It's sad, because I have the first game and was planning on getting the second because it's a pretty fun game. Someone better make a DJ Hero 2 box with the printable option

Me too, actually. I think what could really spruce it up is some splatters of graffiti similar to the original DJ hero box.

The original DJ Hero box was very busy with images and colours all over the place.
This one is the exact opposite and I think thats why I like it so much.

The original design sucked. The sequel's design sucks.

    Shocking.

But it doesn't capture the essence of originality and wildness of the game. It's a bit too bland, but the splatters idea would fix it up. Not too many that it covers the whole white background, just small splatters here or there.

Why should a box capture the 'essence' of the game? Where does it say that anyway? This ain't trying to be an 'essence' box. Just a very fresh, clean and simplistic design... and they did a great job with that.

Alternatively they could of been lazy and just copied the first DJ Heros' box with random images, stickers and graffiti everywhere.

Every box is an advertisement of the corresponding game, correct? So, in theory, shouldn't the box also be advertising the essence or basic concept of the game such as the originality or the music and the fun? The first box captured that perfectly, this one looks nice, but is totally bland and boring.

but also as you said, not as much as in the first cover.

I like the design, but it's too plain.

What. I honestly dont think its as bad as everyone is saying. I actually quite like it, its definately better than the first game's cover at least.

I personally like it. It's a nice change from the overly crowded first game's box.

Yeah the developers were SO lazy, they just searched "DJ Hero 2" on Google and picked out an image, and pasted a logo on it. They didn't make that image on their own, not at all. Who does that these days? It's all about copy/pasting wallpapers.

I know its by the same people who makes Guitar Hero, but honestly, the lettering style is too much like Guitar Hero's, you can tell its by the same people by the name so there's not much need to make the logo similar, I thought the same DJ Hero 1 aswell. And I gree that it looks nice but looks plain.
