Ha Ad Reinhardt does have many dark, black paintings, but they are all very simple, not sure if they would work for a game. But how about Alan Wake, Alone in the Dark, F.E.A.R, Dead Space, or maybe even Halo Reach?

The front of the GTA IV box is looking great so far, and very unique bit reminds me a lot of The Beatles Hard Days Night album.

I would say maybe a thick black font (Or just bold =P) with a small white outline. You could try a text box but I think it would take away from the image, unless you used a black box on low opacity so that the image could still be seen but the text stood out more.

I'm not liking how the back looks at all, in it's entirety. I say try and look for an enirely new concept for the back. Also, I absolutely love the front.

Yeah, I'm really not liking the back either. Even the picture annoys me. Sigh.

I don't own this game, I don't know the details or the story. Is there any item that would be recognizable from the game that I could duplicate for the back like I did with Nico's face for the front? Like, the cellphone or something?

You could use a cityscape set up in the same way as the front. Like have the buildings continue in each square.
