What are you using, Photoshop, Illustrator?

Is it a vector shape? A smart Object? Pixels?

Photoshop, and...pixels. I think I may copy it to a new document and mess with it a bit there, it shouldn't be too complicated.

Hmmmmm... this will be difficult to explain, but here's my best try.

Duplicate the layer with the cross.
Put the new Cross's layer on top of the old cross.
Make the new cross 1 solid color (Probably should be black).
Add an empty layer beneath the new cross.
Select the new cross's layer and the empty layer in the layers panel.
Hit Ctrl+E to merge the 2 layers and remove the appearance of the stroke from the new cross.
Ctrl+Click the New Cross's layer to select its shape.
Go to Select>Modify>Contact and contract the selection by however many pixels wide your stroke is.
Clear this area out of the new cross's layer (leaving you with your stroke in solid color pixel form.)
Add a layer mask to this empty cross shape's layer and play around with the opacity.
The clear black on-top of the white will leave you with shades of gray that will match your background better.

DUDE. I'd be down for collabing with you in making a Radiohead cover collection. PM me if you're still interested in doing this.

It wasn't as complicated as all that, delish. I just messed a bit with some layer masks.

    Better?

EDIT: I've changed the honeycomb stroke, now it's just regular black overlayed. Also, is there anything I should do with the logo? Should I keep it official or do something different? All of a sudden I've got this idea for a completely different box that looks like the intro to HOUSE...

EDIT 2: NVM, that doesn't quite fit the clean, medical sci-fi feel of the game.

I Like it better flat with no bevel. As for the stroke I think the black should stay solid black and the white lines crossing over the black stroke should match the BG more closely.

closer, but i think the black stroke should be solid. I just didn't like those white lines on it in the first version.

    I'll keep working on it.

In the meantime, I'm uploading the other WIP I have from before. Star Wars Episode IV is right here. I took my time on the presentation, so it'd be nice to get some feedback

Been a while since I posted here, haven't really been woking on boxes much. Did a quick one today, for the Expression Session. Clean, fresh, green, and minimal

The spine's a bit ugh now that I look at it. What do you think?

The white font on the bright green background makes it look very hard to see. Other than that, I like the layout and everything.

Are you going to finish the Trauma Center box?

Oh, yeah. I just need to come up with something for the back.

As for Nintendogs, I suppose I could make the background green a little less bright, that's not a hard thing to do.

Either that, or you could add a small dark green stroke to the text. Like the green you used for the dog and the spine.

    RARGRH.

Pretty rough concept, but I wanted to post something to show that I'm not dead. Surprised no one's done this yet.

Anyways, yeah, the little triangle thing isn't finished, but what else do you guys think i should do?

I love the uniqueness of it, I would like to see what it looks like after the triangles are finished.

    Front and spine:

Do the triangles make more sense now? I was building them off of the Berzerk cover.

    You like?
