    Default Custom South Park Project

Not really sure what I'm doing, but I've wanted to do this for a while now, and seeing YoshiStar's Wind Waker WIP and Adhiboy's SMG, I decided to finally wipe the dust off the idea. It's in a very, very, VERY early stage, so do not take this work in progress as the full approach yet. Just leave comments and critique in your comments, and it will very much be appreciated.
    This project is 3% complete.

Looking good so far, although the blend/blur look is not working for me. It doesn't seem "southpark-y." Also the eyes look too small and squished together.

    Hope that helps.

Yes, I'm going to try to fix all of that.

The artwork is pretty good, but it seems very low quality---do you have Illustrator? I would highly recommend that if you're doing vector work, in order to prevent the final result from looking choppy.

Or use vector masking tools in the newer versions of Photoshop, they are nearly as good as illustrator made images, and if you don.t know how to use illustrator, but do photoshop, then they will be much easier to make.

I don't have Illustrator or any other Photoshop products, except for a useless Elements 2 program. Which sucks.

I however did just get Corel Paint Shop Pro, I'm probably going to use that when I get back to my other house (long story that's actually short but I din't feel like typing it even though it probably would've used the same amount of characters I'm using right now).

To me the only piece that looks choppy so far is the pom-pom thing on Stan's hat. I used a sharpening tool and had to re-fill the color as a placeholder, I'll fix it though.

So far on this single render there's quite a bit to do, and I made a checklist. Anything to add?
    • Create head shape and basic colors. / CHECK
    • Create body shape and basic colors.
    • Add placeholder facial features. /CHECK
    • Add textures over most shapes.
    • Perfect proportions.
    • Add placeholder body details.
    • Insert and perfect shadows.
    • Add finishing touches.
