Finish that pirate box! I need it for a printable.![]()
Version 2 or 3.
EDIT: On closer inspection, version 3 is better.

3 is pretty.
Little update on the PS3 template, nothing visual though. I'm running into a little size problem. The template itself with the old back(which still needs to be updated) is still too big to be uploaded on here. The site currently holds an 8MB limit, and even with high compression the file is currently holding at 10MB, that said if i were to keep the vector layers for the quality and add the updated back i'd propably be pushing 18/20MB, i'm still trying to figure out a solution, i'll keep you guys posted.
Working on my entry for the Never Judge The Cover By Its Book competition.
The Design By label is only for the WIP. So what do you guys think? Haven't had any good ideas for the back, as usual.
Btw here some text updates on my other projects, haven't worked concretely on a box for VGBA for quite a while:
Avatar (Updated version)
-Re-designing the back.
-Disc labels in first stages.
-Case/inlay work in first stage.
Pirates of the Caribbean: 4-Movie Collection
-Fine tuning the front.
-Went with version 3, as most of you suggested.
-Back in first stage.
-Not set yet on wether it will have a regular case or if it will be a digipack.
PS3 Template Update
-Back in early stages.
-Possible cancellation due to file size problems.
Once again i'd really like your critique on the Clash of the Titans box, that would be very much appreciated![]()

Looks fantastic.
Wow, this is great.
This better?
Moving the hand wasn't hard as the image i made for it extends beyond the actual front, but the problem was the leg on the right. The original image of IM is much more slanted and therefore didn't have the lower part of the leg, so i had to copy the left leg and edit it a bit. Letting the hand go over the spine wasn't really an option for me, as i personally like clean spines and it interfered with the logo too much.
Small update on some of my boxes:
Iron Man 2-Movie Collection
-Front and spine finished, may add some small tweaks.
-Case conversion started, printable friendly version in the works. (May not be available on VGBA.)
-Disc art in the works, most likely arc-reactor styled.
-Back in beginning stages due to lack of ideas.
Pirates of the Caribbean 4-Movie Collection
-Front finished.
-New spine in the works.
-As with Iron Man, the back is in the beginning stages due to lack of ideas.
-Disc art in concept stages.
Avatar (Update Version)
-Fixing legal info/logos on the back.
-New spine concept in the works.
-Disc art in concept stages.
-Possible digibook conversion.
And here for a new project, which version do you prefer?
Some little notes on each version.
Blu-ray™ Combo Pack – Version 1
-Most work was done on cloning the sides of the image, most of the bottom of the front had to be cloned and/or added due to the image stopping before it reached the edge, same goes for the top.
-Started as a template test.
-Meant to be store-accurate, thus it can be presented on store shelves.
Blu-ray™ 3D – Version 1
-Started as a template test.
-Meant to be store-accurate, thus it can be presented on store shelves.
Blu-ray™ 3D – Version 2
-Most customized of the three, composition of multiple publicity shots.
-New title in 3D in the works, alternatively a texture update will be worked on.
-Lighting on Peter/Spider-Man is a work in progress, mainly the head area.
-Blu-ray 3D banner to be edited further.
So like i said which version do you guys prefer? I personally think the third one has the most potential, but it's up to you guys to decide.
