I'm loving the artstyle you aree going with, it's working great with this. One thing I would do is try to make the logo stand out more, it's kinda blending in with the background at the moment. Maybe some type of texture on the Collection part of the logo would look good to, so that it matches the God of War logo.
What happened with God of War?
I agree with SP about the logo, but if you can't find another decent logo then at least move the one you have now down a little.
I'm also not to sure about the top of the template, it doesn't look bad but I think it would look better if you stuck to the original.
Reviving a thread that's been dead for nearly 2 years, but still.
Currently updating one of my boxes, with some others to follow. The first one is my Avatar Blu-ray cover, i'm in the middle of making a new version of both the 2D and 3D Blu-rays, which will be updated in the coming days hopefully.
The front hasn't changed so drastically, the biggest differences are the alternate banner showing the contents and Jake's face is a little lighter on the new version.
The back however has been started from the ground up, with the main concept being it to resemble Fox's actual Blu-ray template. It's bound to have more info on it but as it's a slipcover i may make the info removable showcasing alternate back artwork. However personally i find the new version to clash a little less with the front artwork. It's obviously less far done than the front, but to get an idea of how the main base will look.
The 3D version isn't that far done yet, but to show the main differences. Which versions do you guys prefer on both, V1 or V2?

I agree with Spiderpig. By the way, Scorpion, do you think you could send me one of your blu-ray templates for a slipcase?
I've never really been happy with the back due to the way it clashed with the front. It just never really sat well with me. Plus it gives me the chance to experiment with some new things, mainly the different layout.
I only have two blank ones atm.(Both for Blu-ray, one 13mm, one 15mm.) Would you be interested in those?

One a less artwork-related note, here's a quick look at progress i made with the PS3 temp. The bottom one is the new version.
The main differences are the gradient(i know it changes around a lot, but i found this version more suitable as it's used more often) and the Only on PlayStation tag which is more streamlined in the new version.) All logos are now also in vector form. Not sure yet if it'll be a public release on here, as there are a few issues. The new version is less user friendly, and the file size is still a bit problematic atm.(mainly due to uploading restrictions and i wouldn't like sharing it through a third-party service.) I'll see how it works out.
Can't wait for updated PS3 temp. Your templates are the best on the site!
Due to demand i am continuing my Pirates box-sets, starting with continuing option A.
I'm starting by making the artwork from On Stranger Tides more franchise friendly.(Making it more easily applicable to all 4 movies, rather than just the On Stranger Tides poster.) But i'm a bit iffy on my first change.
Still working on the shadows and finishing touches on option B but wanted to know if any of you think wether it's out of place or not. Personally i think with some touches it can work, or alternatively another render of the hat. But first i wanted to know what you guys thought.
Btw on the Avatar box i'm making a hybrid of both back versions.
Looks sweet, but the left side of the hat (his right) doesn't wrap fully around his head. But your colors and everything else are absolutely fantastic![]()
bless you with this DOPE
