That's the reason CoD got beaten out by Halo. Because only hardcore gamers and some of the casual players play it, and this forum is populated exclusively by hardcore gamers.

No it wasn't a good game imo. It had some real cool elements to it but the bad outweighed the good by quite a bit.
- Forgettable story and characters
- That annoying gambit system was it where you que'd attacks?
- Token board was a mess
- Grinding (which is usually not a problem for me but the clunky battle system ruined it)

In my opinion, Final Fantasty is the most overrated and overhyped franchise of all time.
I'm not saying they are bad games but people go too crazy and mad over it. Like on this list, how does Final Fantasy come above game series like Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto, both of which has had consistently excellent critical success."If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change."

Thats the thing, you say Halo and CoD are overrated yet there has never been a bad Halo or CoD game! Sure people may be critical of Halo 3 but only because they were expecting so much more considering how great the first 2 Halo games were.
