i vote for Koopa. reason is: sockey's looks pretty much the same as the Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly official box. LINK also, the darkness really kills it. koopa's looks very colourful and realistic. sorry sockey, but i vote for KOOPADASHER

This is tough. I would have never expected them to be this close in terms of quality.
In the end, my vote goes towards KoopaDasher.
Sockey's is amazing, his best box art and amazingly well done. But the logo is hidden in the darkness at the top of the casing, and that's what killed it for me.
    My vote = Koopa

And Arcanus, I think you got your people mixed up.
Because I can't tell if your voting for Koopa or Sockey.....

It does, and it looks nice. But I think the logo should have stayed bright. It's a bit hard to see.

I tried to do that but it doesnt blend well with the box if i take it t of the darkness it looks to colorful and then when I tried Hue/Saturation it ruins the logo also Koopa I spy with my little eye that you forgot DEV logos naughty, naughty also it would use a K-A logo not E

KoopaDasher: His box has great detail in it, and has a great vibe for the mario series. I love the Metal Hat edit in Mario's hand and the BG too. My going gripe is mario looklike is his floating, but that's because of the shadows and the hill going down.

Sockeymeow: Great PS1 box for a classic PS1 game. I like the SFX you use in the BG and love how Spyro is postion. I don't like how the Logo is way darkker than the image and don't like the reflexation. Plus it does look like the PS2 offical cover.

    My vote goes to KoopaDasher.

E is ok for N64, Ps1, and SS games...the kick the K-A rated out back in 1998-1999. So I would accept it. Plus the E ERSB Logo was made back in 1994.

OK, I'll give in to the ESRB comment, but Nintendo-made games for the 64 did not have dev logos on them...at least not on the front:

I know that, but it ok cause that E rating was establish by then. It's ok by my book as I am a retro fanatic.

Stop try to make it against Koopa side, just cause your losing right now...don't worry you still have a chance

yup, and this doesn't count, but all first-party DS games don't have the nintendo logo on the front.

it doesn't count though, but koopa's comment should be noted for future reference (and for those doing a 1st part ds game)

I meant 94 as the ERSB for the E rating, not for the game Mario 64.
