Current Competitions

Create a competition that looks fun, entertaining, and unique. Most people also like to join competitions that are hosted by respectable members. So that could be a challenge.

care to give me some ideas and then i'll author fave you...also i've seen competitions done by lower ranked members

No one has entered your competition.

This thread is not for advertising people's competitions. It's a place where people can go to and see what competitions are currently going on. And in order to prevent a bazillion competitions in the OP, I only add comps I think have a good chance of finishing. Which usually means that there is already a lot of interest in the comp.

I don't know what's not fair? I haven't featured Hatty's competition in this thread. So any interest he has received has come solely from his comp.

Maybe it will be fun. Stop begging for entries to your comp. As steven said, only well respected members will be able to get members to join their comp.

How is it favoritism? Hatty has earned the respect of the people here by for years always being a mature respectful member and a great artist. He's earned the attention. We're not "against" newbies. But we are cautious of them because without any past experience, we don't know what kind of member they are. Just work on being a mature member of this community and maybe in a couple years you can hold a great competition.

Yes, because rank is the most important thing. Let's make an example...

A guy could be rank 9, but he could be a complete asshole and immature.
A guy could rank 4, but he is mature and well respected.

But honestly, using rank as a judge for a member does work most of the time. :P

I've checked and updated the OP and as of now there are currently no competitions available for sign ups. There is however the Themes of the Month which though not a traditional competition, is always open for sign ups. Maybe that would be of some interest to you or you could just check back soon.
