Agreed, the first episode of the new series was fantastic, it seems like Tennant's been gone longer than 3 months as Matt seems quite happy and the role suits him alot better than Tennant at first, it took me until the 4th or 5th episode to like tennant, but i already like how Matt Smith is portraying the doctor.

Oh, and next time Matty, LOOK FOR THE TREE.

Yeah, to be fair how can something which pretty much invented modern sci-fi be "generic"? That's like saying Doom or Black Sabbath is generic..

The attempts at humour are excruciating to watch, none of it is even remotely funny. The special effects look like they were made in the 80s and the acting? Let's just say I've completely given up on the show.
