Amazing Spider-Man, coming from somebody who hasn't seen the first movie, 8/10.
The Amazing Spider-Man - 8/10
Not the best movie ever made, but a damn good one nonetheless. The plot is somewhat shifted to a new focus after an hour or so, therefore leaving the plot of Peter's parents for another time, rather disappointing not to have the full story. I liked it, Emma Stone was great as Gwen Stacy and she wasn't exactly the typical damsel in distress bs that MJ was in the original trilogy. Caught by Goblin, Octopus and Venom = time to get a new girl, Pete.
It was a fun ride, the action was great and the humour was fine. 8/10 is a good score for the movie, doesn't deserve any less or any more than an 8.

Re watched Resident Evil Afterlife. 7/10
Despite some bits being way too cheesy and some of the special effects just looking wrong, it's still a good movie. Some great scenes, just some characters get killed off too pathetically. Anyway, can't wait to see Retribution in September
RE1 and 2 were the best ones. Even though 2 had its bad moments it got pretty close to the game at times. Extinction and Afterlife were just bad and so predictable.
Extinction: Someone gets bit and keeps it to them self, putting the rest of the group in danger later.
Afterlife: The Zombies are outside, so we have to get inside. Now, the zombies are getting inside, so we have to get outside.
See...I hope to become a screenwriter someday. So I can write a Resident Evil film that stays faithful to the games while bringing some twists and turns into it.
Finally got around to seeing The Amazing Spider-Man last night. Despite me not entirely sold before the film, I can say now that I am. It was very enjoyable. My biggest qualm is (predictably) The Lizard. They had the potential to do something great (with Connor's being a pretty good guy beforehand) and make him a conflicted character, but instead they opted for "I'm the Lizard king! Hear me roar!" There were points where it did set him up for it, but it fell painfully short and seemed shoehorned in (specifically the ending and that one scene in the sewers.)
That aside, I was very impressed with the movie. I'm curious about the sequel.
The Number 23 9/10
Holy shit this was a great film. Jim Carey can play straight VERY damn well. It's one of the few psychological films that is both mind boggling and brilliant. The story unfolds very well and you can really see how Jim's character breaks down throughout the film until the end. And the twist, although some may see it coming is still a massive "what the fuck" moment. And at the end the movie all folds together perfectly. Everything fits, all the characters become a part of it all. Despite the ending not truly being major closure it works for the film, kinda leaving the future of the character open.
Shrooms - 4/10
It's a bad plot idea with unoriginal and generic themes. Also the twists were obvious. It was a hilarious horror movie though.
Spinal Tap - 7/10
Very funny movie.
My Strange Addiction Season 3 - 10/10
AHAHAHAHAHAH SHE EATS HER HUSBAND'S ASHES HAHAAHAHAH
To be honest, his version wasn't that great:

The latter link is to the Paul WS Anderson original script. The first is to the Romero script. I liked the first movie, compare the scripts and see what you think. I've read them and personally, Anderson's script is better.
