I wouldn't say otherwise. The whole enjoyment of Marvel movies is the fact that they are based on cheap thrills and in-your-face moments (i.e. "puny god" scene.) Not to say that this is a bad thing at all because they are still very entertaining, but the enjoyment factor really takes a dive during the subsequent viewings unless you're the type of person that gets over excited about BOOM BOOM EXPLOSION SEX JOKE SCARE JUMP WOAH EPIC MUSIC over and over again

Mark Ruffalo really did make this movie, though. It definitely wouldn't have been the same with Norton, good call on Marvel's part I'd say.
    bless you with this DOPE

I think it would have been better with Norton. That was my only complaint while watching it, I just kept filling in each scene with Norton instead of Ruffalo, it made me kinda sad. D:

The Banner we did get was still great though.

I read somewhere they were going to use him, but Marvel pissed him off somehow and he said he wouldn't work with them anymore. (As far as I remember.)

There are lots of other amazing looking films coming out.. and I'm not just talking about really obscure ones, I mean films like Killing Them Softly or Gravity or Django Unchained.

I guess it all comes down to marketing. Sad, though, it'd be nice if there was more interest in other future releases.
I'm excited as fuck for Django Unchained.

Norton is pretty close with the editing and directing proces with the projects he's involved in. They already had some troubles with Norton when he and the director wanted a longer cut of The Incredible Hulk, and he wanted more creative freedom. Kevin Feige didn't want the same thing with The Avengers. That's how i interpreted what i read about it. I though Norton was good, but Ruffalo just had the conflicted genius down, plus i thought his dynamic with Stark/Downey Jr. was brilliant.

Ah. I also agree with Mark Ruffalo, he's pretty much the best Bruce Banner/Hulk.

I loved Ruffalo as Banner. I much preferred him to Norton, anyway.

The Mark Ruffalo/Robert Downey Jr. interaction made the movie for me. Great stuff.

Re-watched my top three least favorite movies to see if my opinion on them has changed. Not really.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 1/5
    Punisher: War Zone - 1/5
Clash of the Titans Remake - 1.5/5
Titans gets an extra .5 because the visuals are quite nice. Especially the scorpions.

The Bucket List - 9/10 - I didn't expect much out of it at first, I only watched it because some friends recommended it to me. I'm glad I did though, the awesome combination of Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman's acting skills are orgasmic. I shed a few tears at the end, it was definitely a tear-jerker.

Kick-Ass - 8/10 - I've been planning on watching this ever since it was first released after hearing all the great reviews about it but I never got around to it. It's great though, nice acting, great story, and the fighting scenes were pretty damn awesome. Hitgirl knows what's up. I believe it's a little overrated though.

I never actually watched The Incredible Hulk all the way through (The DVD I borrowed kept crashing about half way through and to buy used at CeX was £6) so have no reference to really go on. But from what I saw, Ruffalo was a much better Bruce Banner. I kinda took him more believable visually as well. He's kinda how I would imagine Bruce to really look. I haven't really seen much where Norton stands out for me anyway. He was good in Fight Club I guess, but I never liked that and he was over shadowed by Anthony Hopkins in Red Dragon.

    The Music Man (1962) 7/10
I was looking for this movie for a while, for certain reasons Mub may know of. And my college ordered it in for me. The music was catchy, the story was good, the acting pretty great, and there were some pretty funny parts. My only gripes were how some plot poitns where swept under the carpet and despite the long running time. It all resolved fairly quickly and cheesily. But still a good Flim-Flam. I mean Film

    Snakes on a Plane - 3/5
Very stupid. Outrageous plot and awful acting, but still quite entertaining. 1/5 without Sam Jackson, though.

    28 Days Later - 4/5
    Very good.

    Pulp Fiction - 10/10

I don't know why it took me so long to watch this movie, people have been telling me how good it was for years but I've never really wanted to pay £4 to rent it via Virgin Media's filmflex on-demand service. So today, as I was picking up Max Payne 3 from Tesco I noticed something sitting there in the corner shelf. A woman, laying upon a bed gazing at me in a seductive way. I picked it up, and low and behold it was just £2 brand new on DVD.

Watched it a few hours back, loved every second of it. The humour was great, the storyline was nuts and within the first 15 minutes I knew I was going to like it.

    The Green Mile - 9/10

Gets better each time I watch it. Without doubt one of my favourite movies of all time, though a butt numbing, eye wrenching 2hrs57mins in length, the story here is brilliant and the character development is one of the best I've ever seen.
    Signatures are lame.
Hence why I don't have one.
    Because I'm awesome.

    The Evil Dead - 2.5/5

I know this is a cult classic and all and I totally understand why some people like it, but I wasn't really a fan. Felt like it was overly gory just to be gory. I found it more disgusting than entertaining. :/

Are the sequels better? I hear Army of Darkness is great.

    The Avengers
This film. I cannot tell you how amazing this film was. Simply put, after my friends and I saw the film, we were all tempted to turn around, walk back in, and catch the next showing. The film was just fantastic. Joss Whedon knew exactly what he was doing with this film. The Avengers gets, from both myself and my friends, a 10/10. Run, don't walk, to your nearest theatre that is showing this film.

Army of Darkness is great! Evil Dead 2 is the best, it's basically Evil Dead 1 again, but takes itself a lot less series and adds a lot more humor. Army of Darkness is a straight up action/comedy, and has far less gore than the other two.

    Evan Almighty 9/10

I am probably gonna get crap for this- but I actually preferred this movie over the original. I think that this is the funniest take on Noah's Ark, and John Goodman was a great villain in this movie.
