Inglorious basterds.
I was expecting that film to be a comedy but as it turns out, lots of it was serious, sure there was some very funny, and i mean very funny scenes, there was a scena at the beginning that is very sad. I guess to get you into the feel of the movie and that WW2 is nothing to joke about.
my rating of the film is 8.5 out of 10
Avatar 6/10. I saw it. The 3d was amazing, but not taken into account for my score. The movie itself was extremely long, and felt more like a Michael Bay film than James Cameron. Not at all what I was expecting from the guy who made Terminator 2. I was actually pretty let down by everything but the 3d.
Up - 8/10

Good movie, I enjoyed a lot of it, but it was brimming with cliche's and predictability. After seeing the first ten minutes or so, I could've stopped the film and then plotted out the rest of the movie accurately. I would rate it lower, but ultimately I enjoyed watching it, and that's what matters.
Invictus- Really great acting from Morgan Freeman, probably Oscar worthy. The script was pretty good, but it felt cliched and familiar. Overall-7.5/10.

First of all, the visuals were stunning. Absolutely gorgeous. Apart from that though, the film did not have much going for it. It was enjoyable but it was another predictable story from predictable Cameron and the acting was pretty cringe worthy. The army general was the only one who actually did good acting in the film. It was also quite dragged out and it again makes me wonder how Cameron is so popular.
I just got a ton of dvds recently; some I've already seen, but anyway:
