Idk if we have this thread, but whatever.

Anyway, I just watched Harry Potter 6. A bit late, I know, but I missed it in cinemas and my mom got it on DVD for Christmas. It was OK, I suppose. I wouldn't say it was a travesty or anything, but I only read half the book and even then I don't remember much of it, so I wouldn't know. There were some really goofy moments that kind of bought it down (such as Ron and the love potion, and Hagrid & Slughorn getting drunk) and at times some corny dialogue but I'm not the kind of guy who lets that wreck a movie. Another thing that kind of annoyed me was that they focused really hard on the whole relationship thing for the first part but then it quickly changed to being serious and dark and stuff. I mean, the relationship stuff was kind of corny, but it's like they forgot about it halfway through, and they should've maybe tried and integrating that into some of the latter parts of the movie. And I mean, hey, at least Emma Watson is hot. That can't be a bad thing, right? All in all, not a horrible movie, a somewhat entertaining watch, so...

The last movie I went to see was "Where the Wild Things Are."

This movie was phenomenal. The feelings of the characters worked well for the movie. And the detail to the characters is just awesome.

And the part that made me nearly spit out a torrent of pop onto the person sitting in front of me was the part where Carol rips Douglas' arm off. That was messed up.

And it was kinda depressing in a way...

Sherlock Holmes - It was pretty good, slow, but good, It kept you thinking through out the entire movie, plus it had some humorous moments. The acting was fairly good, but the witting was poor at times. The story was really good though.

^This for me, too. Really was great. Downey Jr. is proving himself to be one of the best actors of this generation.

If it's last movie we saw in theatres, then that would be Avatar for me. I felt like it was way too long and much unneeded scenes they could have cut out, the whole second hour was boring to death. The rest of the movie was very imaginitive though, so all in all it was decent. Avatar: 7.5/10

Last movie on television or dvd, was The Hangover. I mean, I've seen it like 30 times this week already. I love it, and if you're not laughing then there's something wrong with you. The Hangover: 9/10

Theatres: Avatar. An amazing movie, and easily James Cameron's best to date, that man gives Canadians a good name. 10/10

DVD: Pelham 123. Over-cliched, bad acting from both Denzel and Travolta...could have been so much better. 5/10
