Default Official Dissidia: Univeral Tuning (JP) Boxart!

It's an improved version of the game (same improvements made to the US version) with some Japanese exclusive stuff.

Cool. But why does Squall look cooler then Cloud? FFVIII is boring and i have yet to get through it or even the motivation to. (stopped on disc 3, post white ship)

    I finally spelled Dissidia correctly

What are they supposed to be standing on? Themselves?

I like it a lot actually, but E_G is right. The fact that their sort of floating isn't a good factor in the "realism" department.

Well all Final Fantasy characters can fly or thrust 100 feet into the air, so why not be able to float as well :P

I guess, but the sense of flight isn't really present. Whatever, it still looks damn fine.

Uhh maybe this one has a few new features, creating a pyramid with characters?

Well...the game was never really realistic, everyone always flies around and whatnot. That's not the point though, everyone expects that boxarts are always supposed to be realistic in everything, but what matters most is the design and that it grabs the eyes of the viewer.

Anyway, I think it's epic. Looks much better than the US boxart.

You mean their personalities? Because that would be like saying a piece of cardboard is better than a plank of wood. You could find more charisma in a sack of dog manure. Mostly, I like my protagonists to be instantly likable, and not for them to be moody shells of characters. This is why I like Zidane from FFIX, he's very easy to like.

Well this is Final Fantasy were talking about, in which everyone can jump like 1000 feet into the air so I would say their floating or jumping.

Yeah, Cloud and Squall's personalities aren't a whole lot different.

I don't mind characters like Cloud or Squall. Zidane was cool, but Tidus just annoyed the hell out of me.

I haven't seen a bigger dumbass of a protagonist until Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia.

I liked Tidus, he was just stupid when it came to obvious romantic signals. I loved FFX
