Resident Evil Afterlife Gets New Release Date

Ever since it was first unveiled, the upcoming Resident Evil Afterlife movie has been slated for a late September 2010 release. According to Kotaku, this is no longer the case; the movie has been bumped up a month and will now release on August 27, 2010.

Cool, huh? *Hopes this movie is better than the other 3...*

I cant stand the movies. Dont have anything to do with the games. Plus this one is going to be in 3-D. I dont know why all movies are going to be in 3D in the future. Like Underworld 4.

This movie will be awesome i just watched rise of the lycans and loved it really paints a picture of how the first 2 started, i love these movies it will be interesting with this in 3D.

As for afterlife this should be a good movie i was always disappointed that it had nothing to do with the games but i've always liked it, least fans can't say "ohhh her hair is an inch longer than that" -_-

yeah, tell me bout it, RE's creator originally hired George A. Romero to make the RE films, he first declined saying he couldnt make a movie for somthing that wasnt his, but then he made a script for it based on RE1, but RE's creator didnt like it saying he wanted an all new story to get new fans to the series, but I wonder, will Chris, Leon and Rebecca make this movie?

The script was ridiculous. It had a bunch of people meeting that never met in any of the games like Ada meeting Jill.

I am a HUGE fan of the games (I have all of them) and I happened to enjoy the third one though not as much as the first two.

They are good action movies but their ridiculous I mean I talk to other people at the capcom forums and they think the movies are terrible. Like why that guy turned into Tyrant after getting bit by a zombie and than taking the T-virus. Makes no sense. Cause Tyrant is a creation. See they dont think about stuff like that.

The first movie was phony balogna. But, I like the 2nd and third. I hate the way they, "so called" iterated items from the games... Like the opening of RE:C:V had Claire running from a shooting helicopter. And Alice did the same in a less epic way... Like I said, I just want this to be a better film.

The reason he turned into the Tyrant wasn't just because of the bite, it was also because the bite was from a Super Zombies, and that he was using a lot of the Anti-Viruses, well more then he should have which fucked him up even more.

NOTHING is wrong with 3D. People like RE5 in 3D... People like movies in 3D. 3D is cool. And it seems to be where the future is headed.

No every movie seems to want to do their movies in 3d like My Bloody Valentine which was terrible. 3D is cool for short things like Universal Studio rides but now 3d is just getting on my nerves. Resident Evil, Underworld, Step up, everyone wants to be in 3D.
