I just got back from playing the demo... and wow. It's in-your-face bad ass. It's incredibly fun, the controls are spot on, the framerate is very consistent, even what you're shown of the story (which isn't a lot) is good. Remember when Assassin's Creed was in development and people were saying you can climb on basically anything? Well, in this game you can, and it works extremely well. The game has a learning curve of about two minutes, and after that you can do fly around as you please, it's so quick and easy to learn. It's actually fun to screw around in the city, grinding on train tracks, jumping off buildings, climbing and whatnot. I think this is the first time I've ever left a demo with a huge grin on my face.

I had confidence in Sucker Punch, but I had no idea it would be this good. If Sly 4 is ANYTHING like this, I'm pumped.

I played it last week, when i got a code from Oxol to download it, the demo is really badass. And the climbing really works, i was hanging onto a train and the game really has a superhero feel, it reminded me of Spider-Man/Batman on a lot of parts, the electricity powers are also cool to use. It really has a good comic book style. can't wait for when my copy of the game arrives next week
BTW: Kinda old news but in the demo there should be a movie theater, on the side of the building you should see a sign with now playing and you see Sly Cooper 4 on the sign, along with posters of Pineapple Express and Harold & Kumar parodies.

The demo was pretty good. Not super special, but fun. The voice acting was unimpressive and the missions were pretty repetitive, but I still enjoyed it.

it was a demo, you only got to do a couple of missions. Most reviews say the game actually has quite a bit of variety. If you mean that the actual mission(s) themselves (what you do in them) was repetitive, then I could kinda agree.

I thought the voice acting was fine, but it's not like that really matters. For some reason the game reminded me of Wanted.

he scans it and says he cant sell it to me to tuesday. Damn, i thought i was getting lucky too.

Reworked the thread title a bit. I already put my brief first impression of the demo on the official convo thread earlier this morning so I'll just repost it here.

The superpowers as well as the controls are great and the climbing mechanics in particular is executed wonderfully. The level of detail is astonishing especially in an open world game like this and the 4-5 missions on the demo were all varied and never boring. Just from the demo, everything about it is just so well done. Download it now if you already haven't."

Yep, it was on PSN as of yesterday. And HOLY CRAP...I was sleeping and missed the GameSpot score just now. Not surprised though...the average score from reviewers are 9's.

You don't need to, but there certainly is no hurt in doing so. The developers mentioned the meaning in the capitalization of the latter part of the logo and it only made sense for me to change it considering it's an official thread.
