    Default Hurt - A Gears of War Wallpaper

    Here is my latest wallpaper effort. It was created solely in Photoshop and finished in Adobe Lightroom to give it that special "ambiance." The text is the first verse of Johnny Cash's song "Hurt." I feel that the words are very fitting considering the story of war and personal conflict. As usual, this one comes in multiple resolutions, as I realize that not everyone uses the same desktop resolution.

    Edit:/ I updated this thread with a sans text revised version to reflect the grittier original.

    MF29, I thought about not including the text, but I feel it is too much a part of the story I'm tellng here.

    jevangod, these are the COG tags the soldiers wear, similar to dog tags worn by many militaries.

    hsoldier, I get that all the time. I just do not know if I'm interested in doing a box. Although, I might consider a collaboration of sorts with the right person.

    Edit:/ Okay, this was more of a joke, but here is a "boxart" I made for UT3 way back when.
