Dammit...I was just about to make this.

Played it twice and will probably play it again a third time before I go to bed. Easily the best looking game I've ever laid my eyes on. Gameplay as well as the sound were fantastic too and you could tell they really worked down to the last bit of detail possible.

My only complaint is that the demo was too short. Sure, it gives a good idea of how the final game will play like, but it left me wanting for so much more. Any doubts I had after watching that infamous E3 trailer are gone. After playing the demo, I can see why it's getting perfect to near perfect scores across the board - they're certainly not lying. Can't wait!

I think the idea is to leave you wanting more, so that you buy the game.

As if every gamer in the universe wasn't going to buy it anyway.

Which is weird considering you only get the exclusive demo if you pre-order it from gamestop, right? (Well, I heard it's free right now in the UK and the demo comes out on psn for everybody the 26th...a day before the release)

But yeah, the fact that I pre-ordered it already means I'm set on buying it. The demo only made the days to wait seem so much longer now.

I kind of want to save my awe for when I get the actual game. If it were anything else, I would be hyper-excited.

so, wait, do I have to pre-order to play the demo now? If so, if I decide to pre-order between now and the 27th, will I get the demo?

I'm downloading as we speak. My little sister, however, decided it would be a good idea to start watching St. Trinian's.

So, I just played it. It was very good. I was impressed. But I'm not gonna jump on the bandwagon and say "ZOMG GOTY!!1" because it's not. It's definitely a 9/10 game, but it's not like best of all time or anything. Although I've realised it can be changed to your own personal preferences, the default control scheme felt pretty awkward, like the first game. Besides that there's not really a lot I can complain about. =/ I'll be picking it up for sure.

I'm not trying to sound like a fanboy, but I had no problems with the controls.

I just found the need to press L3 to run is a bit awkward. Ofcourse, that seems to be the standard nowadays - it was the same for the Fear 2 demo. Other than that, I had no problems with it.

yeah. I really hope they make a patch that allows you to configure your own control scheme, like Killzone 1. I would probably make it so it's similar to Resistance 2 because I love the controls in that game.

I assume the full version will have that option, because I think the demo is a build from 2008.

I tried it while grounded because the man can't keep me from it =p

I found it really nice, graphics deffinitely top notch, gameplay is really nice, my nitpicks are the slow turning (which even kinda bugged me with sensitivity put up), the grenade blast radius, and yea there is something about the controls that feels odd, I'm not sure what it is though....

Can't wait till it comes out though
