    Lightbulb A small suggestion

I would wan't to know who rates my boxes so i have an idea who is giving the rating and how talented they are so i know which ones to take seriosly and which ones to ignore...not to sound mean or anything. This could be a feture soley for the author or for the public...i don't care. Maybe there can be a message saying "The Electric General has rated your box, stranglehold, a 4," in the comment box. I don't mind how you do it, i would just really like this to come into place.

If you have suspicions about someone derailing your boxes' "rank" by a mile and want to find out your suspect’s scoring of them, check their boxes and look to the right for their score history and the reverse for the members score that matters more like checking my score history.

Plus the comments are nice without scores on job of people’s names.

I think you can only see the rating history of yourself when you are logged in, if thats what you are talking about.

Yep, Statikcel is Right, you can only see your Rating History.

Also I agree with Lodovicok's idea, due to that one of my own boxarts was rated an 2 (My Kingdom Hearts Unlimited one) and I wanted to find out Who did it, so I can change their mind or ask why they did it.

Plus if people knew that there rating can be called out, then they would probably rate the box fairly.

You're right actually, well I must have got the wrong assumption from somewhere and yes no mis-using the rating system, no flaming wars on people mis-using the system, Reed can do do the investigations of anyones abusing the system I think, plus you could aways ask what rating people gave your work, but words are more effctive at constructive comments.

Maybe, but it's not without its own problems. There would be a lot of that back and forth retaliation. And some would end up going the other way and overrating everything or not rating at all for fear of someone taking it personally and then rating all their boxes way low.

Retaliation votes are happening now, and people are doing that just based on comments. But when I see that obviously happen those people's voting histories get deleted (a couple have already). And I'll probably end up taking that a step further and ban them from voting, or banned period. And as the site grows and more people are voting, then any jackass votes that don't get deleted won't affect things nearly as much. They just do now because there are typically few votes.

One solution would be a system where you can't give a negative vote. If you like a box, you Tab it (essentially give it a thumbs up). If you don't like it, you don't do anything. The best boxes are the ones with lots of Tabs. Thus, there is no way to make a retaliation vote. Either you give it a thumbs up, or nothing. But I'm not sure it'd work very well until the site's bigger, and being more specific with your vote is nice too...
