Mosh pits suckass. Friggin posers don't know where they belong... THEY BELONG INTO THRASH METAL/SPEED METAL/DEATH METAL GIGS. For example., last time when KISS was in Finland, there was a mosh pit. IT WAS FRIGGIN KISS. MOSH PITS DO NOT BELONG IN TO A KISS CONCERT.
Anyone going into any cool gigs? I'm gonna see Napalm Death and Sotajumala (God of War in finnish, kickass Death Metal band, check it out!) February 20th and AC/DC in June 17th! And in next Jalometalli Festival in August, I'm gonna see some legends on stage like Artillery,Agent Steel and VOIVOD
I bet there's like maybe two guys on the whole site who knows what I am talking about...![]()

They're not even really mosh pits nowadays anyway; it's all hardcore dancing - which is queer, might I add. I see where you're coming from though, but I'm gonna have to disagree. Hardcore (metalcore, deathcore, mathcore, etc.) shouldn't be exempt from pits even though they're pretty much bastardizations of metal. If something's heavy, you headbang, and the next logical step is to start throwing punches. I draw the line at nu metal though.
Hardcore shows are still pretty violent. I saw Underoath live a couple months back and damn near got paralyzed by a crowd surfer.
Walls of death (Bravehearts to some of you) definitely don't belong in hardcore shows though.
