Japanese Text
For anyone who wants to make a Japanese box.
Download text here:

Type your text on you box in ENGLISH first, or use Lorem Ipsum if you don't actually want to write anything. Then translate with any English to Japanese translator, like this one:

Then no more complaints about Chinese text on Japanese boxes. :3

Hi, good to see someone tackling this issue. I was using japanese text scans out of magazines and using overlay filtres to rid the text of the background but recently discovered another and much easier way to do this. You can also download a japanese character text set for your operating system (Windows Vista is very good for doing this). Then just visit a high text site like the Japanese Wikiepedia site and copy a bed of text from any article you choose (its wikipedia, but in japanese so all the buttons are in the same place). Then just paste the text into, say the text box selection in Photoshop and there you have it, instant japanese text! You also get a few styles too (accessable from the font selection box) that range from chinese to modern asian fonts, remembering that it is only altering the style, not the text itself (cos its japanese text, and only a japanese font by style). And typing the text yourself in the japanese font just types it in the same stylized font as the japanese text, but in english.
This is probably more suite to those who have been using programs like Photoshop for a while but basically it allows you to promote the japanese text just as if it were english text (strokes, gradients, drop shadows etc). Like i said, you just have to download the Japanese character text set. Its small and you Operating System will install it automatically once you ask it to do so.
Just an alternitive to the other ways of getting japanese text, hope someone gets some use form it. I found it good because it treats japanese text as if it were text so it doesnt change and alter when you change fonts, only the style/font does. Enjoy.

If i'm stuggling, I find a Japanese website, and print-screen and render the text.
