Thats good to hear, i don't want too much changing when marriage finally comes around haha!! Nah, my girlfriend and i have lived together for just over 2 years now so i think we've got it down pat how to handle each other. I'll probably ask her to marry me one day soon. I love her and what not, and she keeps hinting.

I always thought of a hero as one of those dirty 'hero sandwiches' you buy at servos, but not as a roll itself. That beef pattie sounds interesting, but a bit of a rip off at the same time.

Have you had a BBQ there yet? I'd love to know what the American version of a BBQ is. Its funny hearing them in the movies go "come over Thursday and we'll barbecue". It just sounds like it would be totally different to an Australian style BBQ.

That is funny TBH, i always thought American doughnuts would be like Krispy Kreme ones but better, some how. I'm actually quite surprised that they're nothing great. And no cinnamon doughnuts...what the fuck! They've never lived!!

Yeah i can understand that perspective. I've been with my girlfriend now for almost 3 years. We live together, share finances etc. Sometimes it gets hard, but its all about the love and commitment.

Pretty good actually, Queensland keeps getting hammered by natural disasters - Aussie dollar is strong as so its a great time to spend up on eBay and imports - Labor is out due to the recent NSW State election and Liberal seems to be pretty gun ho at fixing their fuck ups, but only time will tell i guess. There's a been a fair bit of unrest in the immigration centers with detainees burning several buildings to the ground. Other wise though, Australia is a top place to be as usual!

No Solo or Bega cheese? Scones made with salt instead of sugar?? Man, thats out there! A friend of mine recently came back from the States and commented on their love of 'fake' cheese, he didn't understand it either. Good work on the vegemite front, thats one Australian food i simply couldn't live without!
