Second of all, How is it that whatever you enjoy, Metal and what not, is not part of a scene? Metal is the biggest scene there is. Face it, you only like metal because you grew up with people who enjoyed it, you berate anything with electronic because you lived with people who said it wasn't "real music" which is bullshit since electronic takes alot of effort to produce. How exactly are you any different from any of the "emos, scenes, hipsters, meme whores, etc." you described? Here you are disregarding anything you don't enjoy and you say that you only berate those following trends? Hypocrisy. But all in all, you are not a mature adult, you are still a kid like the rest of us, you will stay a kid even if you're in your 20s or 30s. Adulthood comes when you actually have lived every aspect of your life and done all there is. Not "hurr I got married so i am more mature than all of you" not "hurr I am almost 20 therefore adult".
