Nah, you can run any deck you want. It's just a matter of whether you want to be competitive or if you're just having fun. Most old decks won't really compete with the newer ones.

Well, it's not all bad. I mean sure, for a few months the format is going to be completely unfair, but Konami will probably fix their shit. That's what reprints and the banlist are for, after all.
