I have another update on my latest project. It's actually looking pretty different from what I originally had in mind; it's simpler and cleaner, almost serene in tone. I wanted to keep it that way, but wasn't sure if it'd be best to maybe add some characters in the background, tastefully and subtly, without it looking crowded.

This has become more of an experimentation with textures and light for me, though I'm still hoping to make an appealing design out of it.

Considering you've started venturing further into custom art and recreations yourself, I'm looking to you for a second opinion on my latest ongoing project. I finished the colorization on the first image; thoughts? Possible improvements? Should I go for something more intricate and detailed, or stick with the simple look, hard shading, etc.

You should try it out sometime. It's really good from what I've played.
