You could put at the beginning of the post something like,
"Each post will have a specific genre, I am not biased to any of the genres. Today's genre is ___________"

Also, maybe do a specific genre in each post? Although, you'd probably have more posts dedicated to some genres than others. I just think it would be easier if each post (I say post, you know what I mean) had a specific genre.

Well then I don't think it's a justified album.

Albums like "Nevermind" by Nirvana or "OK Computer" by Radiohead or "Dummy" by Portishead etc may not be to your tastes but they are pioneers of modern music.

I saw you're "albums to listen to before you die" blog, both parts.

Now I don't know how many albums you're going to do, but so far you have no non-metal/punk bands except Deftone who aren't exactly mellow.
