Should I play Bad Company 2 before playing BF3?
Will I become lost because I've played CoD?

Al is gone and he's never ever coming back. Time to be a big boy now.... actually idk but he's on PSN sometimes, still waiting for him to get on when im on so we can finish the damn portal chambers. i'm ready to send that thing back already.

@Carl - Meh, i for one was never even into that zombie nonsense, gave DR2 a chance and it was okay but still, i hate spammed gimmicks.... though i guess DR was kinda the original.

Tristan - Yeah you will be lost because you touched COD, it's like touching a butt sausage and trying to clean something with those nasty nasty hands of yours.

If you got Portal 2 eariler I could of helped you out, but my laptop is to shit to run the PC version, and I got $30 on the PS3 version alone.

And Tristan, trust me and Miles, If you tried to adapt to CoD, good luck being Rambo in BF3, but there is a BF3 open beta this month so that will tell you if you need some more BC2 in your life.

Ok, I'll see how I go in the beta. I suppose it won't be too hard to adapt, I'll just have to change my playing style. Is Battlefield more team-based multiplayer?

Yeah, I remember playing the BC2 beta, and hated it because I kept dying, never realizing I was playing the game wrong, fast forward a few months I end up buying the real game (because I forgot I played the beta), and now I'm the leader of my team, the one who get them through the match. Oh yeah about the team stuff, just stick with your teammates, have their back, but don't be one that always hugging on your teammate, watch your squad from a far (even when not as Recon), or don't be afraid to be a lone wolf every now and then (but if you don't, go the divide and conquer route, taking out enemies away from the rest of their team one by one).

Started playing BC2 again this weekend for the first time since Killzone 3 came out. I thought i was going to be terrible but surprisingly did fairly well. My last match was defense on Arica Harbor which is a great map for engineer class. SCAR/L + RPG7= dead infantry and smoldering vehicles. Got the Ace pin too. ^^d I tried using the medic again but can't seem to use lmg's all that well and i go around rambo reviving my teammates which is probably why i suck using that class.

I saw you were playing last night, Jonathan, but you logged off before i could join your game. What game mode do you usually play?

I'm usually playing Hardcore Rush, I was playing on the two snow maps last night (the most hated maps for me), so that did it, even though we were winning. I'm going to start playing more Conquest though.

I just got MAG, anyone else got it?

I'm not a fan of Hardcore mode at all. Since your guns do more damage and your health is lower i find it turns matches into both sides camping waiting for someone to come out into the open. At least from what i've experienced. The snow maps aren't too bad. The only one i really dislike is Nelson Bay mainly because it's at night and difficult to see people with all of the brush.

@Tristan - Never got MAG even though the 256 player count had me interested. How are you liking it?

@Miles - Have you played Killzone 3 since the newest patch? Apparently the Marksman Scramble++ ability can now be activated. The kicker is that it stays active until you turn it off and has only a 20 second cool down period. The game's forums were in a hilarious uproar. Personally i think i may be done with the game. The matchmaking is pretty fucked up and it's tiresome being placed into lobbies with only three other people or by myself. Oh well. Fun while it lasted.

Yeah, it's not bad. At first I was a bit lost because the controls are a little bit different to CoD but now I'm use to it.
In Battlefield, are the controls much different? And when does the Beta come out?
