  1. Loved the latest few things you added to the drawing thread dude, you truly have an amazing talent. Keep at it man!
  2. Yeah, we get shit loads of american crime shows down here as well. I actually really like criminal minds but thats about it
  3. My mum loves K&K. Actually, i got her a "handbag box set" of K&K for xmas, i'm sure she'll love it! As for Pizza, its a bit like Swift and Shift, same actors, but instead of playing couriers they are all pizza delivery guys in Sydney working for this angry tight ass Italian guy. It's pretty crazy and a really funny show, they full play the stereo types right up in it. They used to get banned all the time on TV for pushing the limits! Highly recommend.

Underbelly's sick, although A Tale of 2 Cities (i think it was sub-tittled something else in NZ) was a little inaccurate in places. The first one was unreal though, very close to the real events. Season 3 is in production now, tittled "The Golden Mile", looks pretty good thus far. As for Home and Away stars, yeah theres quite a few. Kate Richie is one, Madeline West from Neighbors is another and i've seen various other ones. I like seeing actors in parts like that, its a different contrast to previous roles.

I get the feeling that NZ culture is pretty similar to Aussie culture though - both countries seem to like each others shows and both countries seem to have a pretty relaxed attitude to most things. The problem is here though is that there's heaps of fucking US crime shows on TV, so we tend to miss out on a lot of really good shows at times. And if you want the good ones, local or abroad, you generally have to get Foxtel.
  4. Havent heard of pizza but im pretty sure i've heard of swift & shift. Kath and kim is pretty big over here in NZ, i myself have only watched parts of it but my mother really likes it

Underbelly is also quite popular down here from what i know, from the ads on tv i have also noticed one or two home and away stars which caught my attention as i watch that quite often
  5. I've seen a bit of that, it was pretty good what i saw. On the last PSN update there was a TV update that allows you to download episodes of that for a small fee. I think they may have all been 720p too. Its a good show that one. There's another one too, We Can Be Heroes or something, same guy but he plays all these different people - a women who wants to roll around Australia, twins where one is deaf and another character based of his one in Summer Heights High - can't remember the name but that one's pretty funny too.

Do they show shows like Pizza, Swift & Shift and Kath & Kim over your way? And are you a fan of Underbelly?
  6. Ive heard of it, never seen it though. Have you seen summer heights high?
  7. Ah dude, its a scream let me tell you! Quite possibly one of the most original zombie flicks i've seen in ages thats for sure!!

Speaking of shows, have you ever seen a Canadian show called Trailer Park Boys? Thats pretty funny, sort of like a documentary on these friends who are all petty criminals.
The main character, Ricky, can talk his way out of anything. Too funny!!
  8. For some strange reason i've never gotten around to seeing black sheep. I must do so soon
  9. Ah sweet! I'll have to check it out. We get Outrageous Fortune (Australia Network only though), Bro Town and a few others here and there, but thats about it really. Shame, as i've found NZ shows to be very original and witty. Actually, SBS aired Black Sheep the other night, thats one fucking funny ass zombie movie!!
  10. Its a NZ comedy show but i dont know if its aired in Aussie. You can search for some vids on youtube but heres just a short vid i found
