now, i remember you guys told me to take a break. i feel that i have my schedule planned for this "break". i am in the process of making a halo 2 box. Don't worry, it's not what you think it is. It's not great, but you'll see. Treesquirrel will probably know what i'm talking about ;)

ok then.
1. finish off box.
2. put it onto gimp.
3. spend hours, days, weeks, months, whatever, trying to master gimp.
4. go on holiday for 2 weeks.
5. come back, finish off gimp-ified box, and submit it.

do you guys have any advice on what i should do?

Putting the box onto Gimp should be before finishing the box on your schelude
obviously.

But at least you have stated you're going to learn Gimp, I don't know how to navigate on Gimp,
because I'm a Photoshop user but it is your hope so I'm glad you said you're going ahead with it.
Hopely I can trust you're a man of his word. ;)

GIMP is a great program. I think you'll make great boxes once you figure out all that GIMP can do. The program does so much, there's still stuff about it i don't even know how to do yet :p
