Hello fellow boxartist, yes finally we are up to the next round.
This round will be a lot simpler, actually it's a moderated round 1. This round is still about "cooperative creativity", but now you will work in duo's. That means I've made duo's so fair as possible, the most skilled artists will face eachother.
The duo's exist out of ONE artist that is far advanced with Photoshop/ GIMP, and ONE artist that's still learning.

There is a tight game choice:

For the teams that won the last round; I have decided to let them make a game boxart in the Chrono Trigger Series. These teams are free to make a made up sequal/prequal or spinoff in the Series. NOTE: Chrono Break is a rumoured third episode in this game installment. Only a logo ever appeared. Chrono Resurrection is a fan game made back in 2004, and was restarted in 2006.
This game however was cancelled by these fans AND Square Enix, by copyright and trademark defiling. There are screens of this game and a logo!
Also Radical Dreamer is a commonly unknown game to the public. It is a kind of "Chrono Trigger 1.5", it introduces the lands of Chrono Cross and expands the world of Chrono Trigger!

For the team that lost the last round; I have decided to let them make a game boxart in the Banjo Kazooie Series, every game is allowed in this Serie. These teams are free to make a made up sequal/prequal or spinoff in the Series.


BTW thanks to the participating members to make this innovation in boxartmaking happen!

The end presentation must be a 2D boxart (Front and Back), with all the focus on the box alone... no focus on the background, boxcasing (3D presentation/2D"3D"presentation).

Personally, although I thought Chrono Trigger was a good game... I do think it's a rather restrictive title to use as a competition choice. Even though you have given the choice of different versions... there's still hardly any decent images for it.

Cerium... you better read up on it... it's no Sonic game ;)
