(LK & TM's) Secret Collab project poster

I'm pretty much done with my part in the collaboration project me and TwilightMystics have been working on for some time now....still gotta put some finishing touches though. ;)

So to kill some time, I just took a concept design I made a few months ago when brainstorming for ideas and turned it into a teaser poster. Hopefully, TM will post it tomorrow, because I already put down a date. :D Anyways...enjoy!

No offense, but the poster isn't especially great. I like the idea, but it looks like you made the image purple and added a render of the wolf to it, which doesn't fit in. I trust that the box will be great, however.

The teaser's design is nice, but as I'm sure you know, the art style of Amaterasu really clashes with the Zelda artwork around it. As does his fluorescent fur. Awesome alliteration. [/lame loser]

EDIT: And TTT, that's actually four different pieces of artwork blended together, he didn't just "color it purple". Nor is it actually purple. ;)

Yeah, as I've said...just a concept I made months ago and I just had some extra time to turn it into a teaser poster, no biggy.

I like it since Ammy's style actually fits in well with Zelda- if you've done cross overs before...it's very hard to blend 2 games with different art styles together.

And it looks like blue to me and not purple. ;)

Yeah, the actual games fit together really well. Playing Okami (great game!), much of the game draws from Zelda. Plus scantily clad wood sprite. :p

But this Okami artwork is more line work, while the Zelda art has a painted look, but I guess that's unavoidable. Just curious, how did you and TM split the work. Front and back?

Yeah pretty much. He also made a few extras to go along with it. Can't say anymore at the moment.

Haha....this is definitely not the project. "Just the tip of the iceberg" in every sense of the phrase. It's an actual game box that will be posted soon. (Hopefully tomorrow :))

I can even say that the actual project won't even have the same color scheme as this. So I'm not really spoiling a whole lot by showing this "teaser" poster. :]

I know right.

Text not counted...nextwave is right, it's 4 pieces of artwork combined. The background, Link and Epona, the Hooded character, and Amaterasu (But all the image edits make the layer count over 20). Like vgm said, it just gets the point across...not really made to impress- I'll leave that to the actual project itself. ;)

EDIT: I just sent it to TM, if he's not too busy watching The Dark Knight today, (like I will be) I'd be looking forward to seeing the whole thing.
